Our Caterpillar rebuilt diesel engines are tested to Caterpillar OEM specifications and include: block, rods, piston assemblies, timing gears, pickup tube, dipstick, dipstick guide, flywheel housing, water pump, oil pan, oil cooler, front cover & seal, crankshaft, oil pump, camshaft, valve covers, complete fuel system, fuel filter assembly, front damper, intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, oil filter, heads, turbocharger(when applicable), valve train (lifters, pushrods & rocker arms).
** There is a non type-for-type core penalty when replacing a flat cam & lifter application with roller cam & lifter application. To determine if the engine has the roller lifters, do the following: Pull the valve cover and remove a push tube, look down at the lifter at the 3 o'clock or the 9 o'clock position. The 250HP engine has a hanger or tab on the side of the lifter that prevents it from rotating. If the lifter does not have this feature then it is not a 250HP engine. To avoid core penalties, use like-for-like engine cores.
