The 7.8L diesel engine short blocks are available for Ford heavy truck applications made from 1986 through 1993. This inline, 6-cylinder, turbocharged engine reliably powers cab vans, dump trucks, snow plows, garbage trucks and delivery trucks. 

Short block includes: block, timing gears, piston assemblies, connecting tools, crankshaft, front plate, camshaft.
