Navistar DT466 7.6L Engines
Navistar DT-466B, 466C, 466P and 466E 7.6L engines available in both long block supreme and complete drop-in configurations. Long block supreme includes: block, rods, oil cooler, valve cover, water pump (no pulley), piston/sleeve assemblies, timing gears, front cover & seal, gasket set,thermostat,damper & pulley assembly, crankshaft, oil pan, oil pump, pickup tube, valve train, camshaft, head, flywheel housing, oil filter, thermostat housing. Complete drop-in includes: all parts on the long block supreme plus air crossover tube*, intake manifold, dipstick guide (lower portion), complete fuel system (injectors, high & low pressure lines, injection pump & fuel filter assembly), turbocharger, exhaust manifolds. * Where required
When ordering a Navistar DT-466 engine you'll need to get the following information: Full serial number [13 digits, located on the driver's side of the block, centered below the head surface], engine horsepower, if engine is turbocharged is it turbocharged with intercooler or turbocharged with aftercooler, and does it have high mount fan [4 grooves in crankshaft pulley] or low mount fan [3 grooves]. If it's 1988 & newer ALSO get the following information: Injection pump part number [located on governor housing], turbo part number, if exhaust pipe connects directly to turbo or connects to turbo through elbow [which faces toward front of engine], front cover casting number, intake manifold casting number, bolt-on thread-on fan clutch.
